  1. How does it work?

    It’s simple, choose a pickup date, select your service whether it’s wash & fold or wash & hang. Indicate any specific washing instructions, select your preferred delivery date and then submit your order!

  2. How do I pay?

    Using Stripe as our secure payment processor, we accept all major credit cards. Just add your card information during signup.

  3. When/how will I know the final cost of my order?

    Your order will be given a final “weigh in” before your clothes are processed and you will receive an updated invoice before your card is charged.

  4. How can I determine the weight of my items?

    Weight averages can be found on the “Pricing” page of the website. For example, the average single person typically generates about 15lbs-20lbs of laundry in a week and a couple would generate about 25lbs-30lbs a week.

  5. How do I prepare my laundry for pick-up?

    For first time orders put your laundry in any bag and your Laundry Hub concierge will arrive with a specially marked bag.

  6. Is there a minimum order?

    There is a 20lb minimum charge that is applied to all wash and fold orders. All a la carte orders under $30 will be charged a $10.00 delivery fee to cover the cost of your Laundry Hub concierge. (i.e. Duvet/comforter)

  7. What is the turnaround time?

    48 hours is the usual turnaround time, not including Sundays and public holidays. For wash and hang garments, your items will be returned within 72 hours.

  8. Do I need to separate my whites from my darks?

    We will sort everything before it is washed. Your garments are processed and washed separately and NEVER mixed with the garments of any other customers.

  9. What happens if I have an item that needs to be washed in a specific way? Do you read the washing instructions?

    Please leave us your preferred instructions in the washing instructions comment box upon placing your order. We will adhere to these instructions as they will be applied to the cleaning of your garments. We also accept pillows, duvets, duvet covers, and non-rubber backing bath mats. Please do not send items requiring special care like cashmere sweaters and fine silks as drying such items may cause damage for which Laundry Hub would not be liable.

  10. What happens if I miss my pick-up window?

    If you miss your pick-up window and we attempt to pick-up, we will charge a $10 fee. Please reschedule or cancel within 24 hours of placing your order by emailing service@laundryhub.ca to avoid any additional fees.
